Yvonne B. Canfield, 74, of Buttzville, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ.
Born on November 4, 1935 in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Thelma Creveling Folkner.
Yvonne was a 1955 graduate of Centenary College, Hackettstown, NJ and was a postal clerk at the Buttzville Post Office prior to her retirement. Yvonne loved music and was an organist at the Buttzville United Methodist Church. She also provided many students with piano lessons. Yvonne also loved animals, especially her beloved cat, "Baby Cat".
In addition to her parents, Yvonne was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Canfield who died March 25, 1998.
Yvonne was a member of the Buttzville United Methodist Church and the Peggy-Warne Chapter of D.A.R..
Surviving are her cousins.
